Warden's Lantern is out
Five chapters. Five keepers. One lighthouse. Available today on iOS, Android, and the web.
Warden's Lantern, our first game as Maxonice, is out today.
Where to get it
- iOS / iPadOS — App Store
- Android — Play Store
- Web (PWA) — linked from the Play section on this site
It's a one-time purchase, the same price on every platform. There are no ads, no ad tracking, no in-app purchases, and no online account required. Cloud save is optional via email sign-in; everything works offline.
What's in the launch build
Five chapters. Ninety-two puzzles. Five keepers, five journals, one ending (we thought about branching endings and decided against it). Roughly eight to ten hours if you read everything, which we hope you do. Full accessibility pass — high-contrast mode, motion-reduced fog, screen reader for journal pages, and a puzzle-skip option for the two or three we know are genuinely hard.
What comes next
We're taking the week after launch off. After that: one free chapter expansion in winter (working title "The Drowned Keeper"), a handful of patches for whatever breaks, and then we shift to Paperline pre-production.
Thank you for reading along for a year. This is the best part.
See you next month, with launch-week stories.
